Once again I was able to read this book while also listening to it on audio like the first one. The audio was done by the same 2 readers, one voice for the male chapters & one voice for the female ones. The book is just like the first & told through 4 different viewpoints. The books continue to not really follow the show. There was a lot of things happening &  new info presented in this book so I had to take notes. My summary might be a little scattered but I tried to include all of the important info.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 It's been 21 days since they landed & a few more kids have died. There was a fire & after that Octavia was taken by the Earthborns. Bellamy & Clarke go out looking for Octavia & in the woods they discover an orchard & Clarke is bitten by a snake.
Meanwhile back at camp an Earthborn girl named Sasha breaks into the camp & the 100 are holding her prisoner to see if she knows where Octavia is. Sasha tells them that there was another ship from The Colony about a year before, but no one knew about it. While she's in the camp her & Wells get closer, she shows him their orchard & a house that was standing before the nuclear war.
After Clarke recovers from her snake bite her & Bellamy talk about Lily, a girl that Bellamy used to date & the girl that Clarke helped kill in her parents radiation lab. When Clarke tells Bellamy about Lily & what happened with her parents he is obviously upset. Mad at Clarke, Bellamy goes off on his own to continue to search for Octavia who is still missing.
After talking to Sasha about the 1st ship, Clarke & her go off into the woods to go find Sasha's people so Clarke can learn more about the ship. Sasha ends up fleeing to her own camp & Clarke ends back up with Bellamy. The two discover the entrance to Mount Weather, an underground nuclear facility. Sasha's people are there waiting for them. She takes them to her camp where they speak to Sasha's father & figure out Clarke's parents might be alive because they came down on the 1st dropship, they also find Octavia.
Back at the camp Pria has been killed by the Earthborns, or so the 100 think, but it could have been one of their own. Some kids also got sick & it was thought that they had radiation poisoning, turns out they just ate some bad berries & they will be fine in a few days.
In one of The Colony flashbacks Wells sees his father at the remembrance wall & he finds out there was a young girl he fell in love with when he was young before he met Well's mother. The girls name was Melinda. Coincidentally that is also Bellamy's mother's name. It turns out that Wells & Bellamy are half brothers & didn't know. As the sun sets on Earth that night Bellamy & Clarke see what they think is a comet, but it's actually the drop ships coming down to Earth finally.
Back on The Colony Walden has been sealed off because of an air leak. Glass & Luke are together but Glass wants to find a way to get back to her mother. Eventually Glass decides she has to try & open the sky bridge to get the people of Walden onto a drop ship to Earth before it's too late.
She is successful but the people on Walden & Phoenix are all desperate to get to Earth & find a new life. On their way to the drop ship after they got Glass's mother, Luke & Glass run into Luke's ex girlfriend Camille. She is desperate to get Luke back so she tells him Glass's secret about lying about who the father of her baby was so Luke would live but his friend Carter would die. Luke says he would have rather died then continue on with Glass so he leaves her & her injured mother to fend for themselves.
At the last second as the Vice Chancellor is entering the drop ship he sees Glass & her mother & helps them get on. But there is a desperate guard who is willing to kill someone for their spot on the ship. Glass's mother is shot & killed in the struggle but Luke makes it onto the ship in the ordeal & he decides to stay with Glass & comfort her for now.
So The Colony is headed to Earth & the 100 are eagerly waiting to see what will happen next...
Likes:  Fast paced & interesting story
Multiple points of view
The Colony & the 100 will come together...for better or worse!
Different than the show so far,but the show is also very good in it's own way.
Dislikes: There is a lot of drama in the book! It also bothers me that there is so many love connections.One second Bellamy can hate Clarke & the next they are having sex in the woods & he loves her. Wells is doing the same thing. He came to Earth to be with Clarke but he ends up kissing Sasha..teenage hormones!
