New Year 2021!

Hi guys!!!! I'm back! I know it's been several months since I published anything on my blog but let me tell you things have been crazy. I've been super busy at work & I haven't been reading as much, although I'm hoping to change that in the new year. I'll be posting my Top 10 Books of 2020 very shortly. I'm thinking I'm going to continue with making a list of books I want to read every month going into this next year. I'm not sure if I want to start doing individual reviews again, or if I just want to do the mini reviews at the end of each month. What do you guys as my readers think? Tell me down in the comments.

So what have I been doing that's keeping me away so much?

Well my library has remained open since June despite all the COVID restrictions. I think that's a great thing! We got a grant to expand our gardening classes in partnership with The White Mountain Community Garden. This meant we got new books, videos, & checkoutable materials to share with our community. We will also hopefully be having classes in the coming months that are in person. Stay tuned for more info on that!

We also got a grant to purchase a mobile kitchen! We started filming cooking shows last month & the first one premiered this week. You can visit this link to see it & also see other classes that I've done & other shows our local TV station does.

I've continued with my Adult DIY series which includes take home kits & the videos (click the link above to watch).

Other than that when I'm at home I'm hanging out with my cat & reading as much as possible. Our book club that we have been doing via Zoom is dwindling in #'s but I hope we can keep it going. I was a slacker & didn't read all the books last year. I think I have 2 that I still need to catch up on. But the good news is that I already read this month's book last year & then reread it again already in this new year so I'm off to a better start.

What are some of your goals for this new year?

More later...
