This is the second book in the Hannah Swensen series. I listened to it on audio & also had the e book. I'm interested in continuing the series because these are light, fun, & easy to follow. Overall the story was good there is mystery, food, & a little romance...nothing wrong with any of that. The story line was slightly connected to the first one but I think you could still understand what was happening even if you didn't read that one. The only drawback was the plot was pretty much the same as the first. Hannah ends up helping with a murder investgation even though she's supposed to stay out of trouble. There's a murder that leads to a 2nd murder & Hannah ends up finding out who the killer is & being trapped in a room with them, only to have to pull a stunt to get away & the killer goes to jail. The books are pretty short & the audio wasn't that long either, I was able to listen to it in the 10 days of the checkout period. The recipes sounded really good! One of the weird things about the audio that kind of bothered me though was that the reader actually read the recipes that were at the end of the chapters....WHAT!!! I'll include the strawberry shortcake recipe below...
