While checking items in this past week I came across some very cute picture books & decided to read them real quick; I wasn't disappointed. Since I used to be a school librarian, picture books are still a love of mine. However I don't get to read them very much. So here are the ones that I got to browse through this week!

Dinosaur Farm by Frann Preston-Gannon
This is an adorable book about a day working on the farm! Some of the pictures are hilarious, like when he has to clean up dinosaur poop or almost gets eaten by newly hatched dinosaurs.
Oh Nuts! by Tammi Sauer
This is a book about 3 chipmunks who live in a zoo but get ignored since they aren't "zoo animals". They get a taste of the limelight & decide they like living hidden away in their tree.
Great, Now We've Got Barbarians! by Jason Carter Eaton
One of my co-workers recommended this book to me. It's about a kid who doesn't clean his room so barbarians take over his house & he gets in trouble & has to clean up after them. But then he floods the bathroom & has a worse problem...pirates!
Will You Be My Friend? by Nancy Tafuri
This book is ADORABLE!!! It started off a little sad. Bird & bunny live in a tree in the forest but they are not friends because bird is shy. Then one night there is a storm & bunny invites bird to stay with him. Then the next day bunny & a few other creatures help bird rebuild his house since it was destroyed in the storm & they all become friends.
