March 2020 Wrap-Up & April 2020 TBR

So...it happened again! The entire month just is gone...between continuing recovery from surgery & of course the whole "Coronavirus" hysteria it's already April & spring. Summer is just around the corner & I'm not sure what is going to happen! I'll give more details on that later & what is going on at my library too. I only read 1 book in March, & because of what's going on I checked out a bazillion books from my library incase we get shutdown & I can't go back. So let's dig in shall we!

March 2020 Wrap-Up
Chocolate Cream Pie Murder by Joanne Fluke
I'm really close to catching up with this series. I have the next book already so I'll hopefully be caught up by the end of this month! I'm still looking for suggestions of other cozy mysteries on audio, leave a suggestion down in the comments.

April 2020 TBR
I have 19 books checked out from my library right now. The limit is 25 & I have one more that I am waiting on to be processed then I think I'm all set for the apocylopase!!! I'll put a list with links etc down below if you want more info on what I am hoarding. Yes I said it...I am a book hoarder & I am proud!
*I made this picture a little bit bigger than normal so you can see all the goods! LOL*

From left to right, I also tried to keep the series together & the age groups together:
YA Books
This is a book I saw online about a year ago & it has finally come out. Someone actually donated it to the library but instead of me snagging it for myself we added it to the collection. It is a fairytale retelling of the 12 Dancing Princesses. I remember reading that story as a kid in a big book of fairytales my grandmother had.
This is another series that I first saw & pot on my TBR YEARS ago & it has finally all been published so I figured I give it a try. I hope I'm not disappointed.

Adult Books
Saw this book on Robin (our catalogger) desk last week...impluse book. But I love all things Titanic so we'll see.
This was another impluse book that I saw on the shelf before all the crazy started. It's #3 in a series but apparently they can't exactly connected. Also checked out before the pandemic.
I really enjoy this movie so I thought I'd try the book.
Same as above. Plus I wanted to through in some non fic to see if it will get me out of my funke.
I bought this book on audio read by the author for my grandparent's b-day last year. We have it as part of our Healthy Living Section. I walk past it on display every day so I figured I'd give it a try. I really enjot watching her cooking shows on Amazon. Speaking of cooking shows...I miss them Have been avoiding them since I had surgery due to lackof food & eating LOL
I checked out this book after I finished my last dino one & hello dinosaurs!
This is our Cook the Books book club pick for this month. Confession: I still haven't finished the LAST book club book, but I will.

JUV Books
I have #1 & #3. #2 is still in proicessing but these looked interesting & archaology/anthropology is a passion of mine.
I checked this book out before the pandemic but the rest of them are checkedout by other people so I might hold off on this one until they are in. We'll see.
This series is one I saw online as well then we got them all so I want to read them before the children LOL

Let's have a little chat/update now that the book list is done!
I obviously know I'm probably not going to read ALL of those books this month but I can dream, right? I like having choices. Plus you know I have NOTHING to read in my house LOL just kidding, if you know me at all you know I have over 100 unread books in my house plus ebooks & audiobooks. I've also gotten my hands on a puzzle & a craft kit to help hold my attention/distract me if that makes sense. I'm excited about those. I'm not normally a puzzles person. I haven't done one since I was a kid with my grandmother but this one looked interesting so I'm gonna try it...after I clean off my dining room table of course.
  So my library...
What can I say? We have been closed to the public since March 16th & we will for sure be closed the remainer of April. Things are changing every day which is very stressful for me because I like to plan ahead. I'm hoping things return to normal by May & of course if not then by summer because we really depend on our summer visitors. I've been helping do a weekly online storytime through Facebook LIVE, you can check out our page Show Low Public Library Facebook. I also updated our seed library which has been open for a year on Monday, so exciting! Our seed library catalog is available online & I'm so proud! Hoping to add more info/pages soon, it's here. We've all been wearing gloves while handling the books & we have a cleaning/quarantine process for the books that have come in through the book drop. We are soon going to start wearing masks, one of my coworkers is making some for us. Hopefully we don't get sent home but we are also preparing for that possibilty & working from home.
When I'm not working I've been watching TV. Not the best habit but it keeps me sane. I'm rewatching/finishing The Vampire Diaries & Desperate Housewives now that I recently finished ER. I'm also going to be catching up on my regular shows since they came back but are now suspended again.
I've also been cleaning/organizing my house. I think it's almost done. There's 2 or 3 more projects I want to do but most of those require things from the store so they can't really happen right now. They are going on the back burner for now to be continued later.
I will close with this....how are you all holding up, whoever is reading this out in the world? Let me know down in the comments. What are you reading? Are you too working form home?

Reviews to come!
