 This review contains spoilers!

This is book #24 in the Hannah Swensen series. I'm currently on the newest book & that means I've successfully caught up on the series. The next one comes out in the fall & it will be her Christmas special that she does every year.

The story up to the last few books has been pretty mild. But once Ross really came into the picture things changed. Hannah & Ross got married 4 books ago. Everything seemed to be going good until he disappeared in the next book. Then in this book she has her first contact with him after finding out he was already married & leaving town. Turns out (in case you didn't already figure that out) he's not a good guy; he's violent & mean. But you'll be happy to know after spending most of the book hating him, trying to figure out what his plan is, & out smart him he finally gets what he deserves! All is well again in Lake Eden!

I do have some unanswered questions about this series after all this. #1 Why bring Ross into the picture only to make him the bad guy & take him away again? #2 Why not just have Hannah pick Mike or Norman? #3 What will happen now? #4 Will Hannah pick one of her 2 existing love interests?

Since I'm almost all caught up on this series I'm looking for another cozy mystery series to start, do you have any suggestions? I mostly listened to these on audio because they were quick & light & I didn't have to pay a whole lot of attention to the story if I was listening & working on something else. I'm hoping to find another series like this one to do that with.

The recipe I've included with this review I picked because it sounded so weird! You bake the cookies part of the way then leave them in the oven overnight...WHAT!!!

Stay tuned for more reviews to follow this month!
