I usually post this list on Wednesday but it has been pretty busy this week so here are the picture books I read this week.

Mr. Pusskins (A Love Story) by Sam Lloyd
This books was adorable! Cute pictures & story. You get a little teary eyed at the end when Mr. Pusskins is out on the street, but him calling Emily to come get him is funny.
Emily loves her cat Mr. Pusskins-she feeds & brushes him & reads to him. But Mr. Pusskins was bored with his dull life. So one day he left....He made friends on the street with other cats. But eventually that wasn't fun anymore & he missed home. He finds a lost cat flyer for himself & he realizes he was mean to Emily. Sp he calls home to see if someone can come & get him. Emily comes & she is so happy, Mr. Pusskins is happy too!

This was a very strange story but the pictures are really good.
Rabbit is unhappy because he is ordinary. He wishes on a star to have horns & fangs & claws & a stinger. The next day his fairy god rabbit comes & grants his wish, but he can only have one, he decides he wants horns. With his new scary horns he scares a whole bunch of animals, each time his horns get bigger & bigger. Then he meets a coyote & he is scared so he runs away. But rabbit gets stuck in the ground & wishes the fairy god rabbit back. She comes back but coyote steals her magic wand. Rabbit's horns end up on the fairy god rabbit. Together her & rabbit scare off coyote & the god rabbit wishes her ears away. At the end coyote eats them all!

Look at how adorable he is!!!
In the Hong Kong harbor there is a floating restaurant. Inside lives a mouse named Chopsticks. One night the beautiful golden dragon at the entrance starts talking to him. The dragon wants to fly! The only person who can do that is Old Fu, the dragon's carver. Chopsticks visits Old Fu & he teaches him a song on a whistle that will only transform the dragon on a full moon. On the next full moon the dragon comes to life. Chopsticks & the dragon travel around the world & the next day Chopsticks visits Old Fu to tell him of their adventures.

If you couldn't tell already I LOVE cats so I like reading cat books. I try to read one each week. This one was really cute!
Homer was a quiet cat that lived a simple life. One day he hears a loud noise & jumps out the window in fright. Once outside he starts looking for a quiet place to hide. He tries the post office, the fire station, the railroad, & finally the library. At the library he hears a familiar voice-his owner! She is the librarian & she's reading a story to kids. Now Homer is the library cat & he likes it a lot!
